Description:
This six-week online course introduces participants to a variety of tools and resources for boosting student engagement and personal productivity via projects that use educational technology (ed-tech). Participants view select episodes of UEN’s Faculty Lounge, a weekly ed-tech program for educators, and explore ways to integrate the following into their teaching and classroom management practices: UEN Web Resources, Digital Video, Digital Photography, Web 2.0/Online Tools, Web Publishing and Office Productivity Tools.

Through this course, participants
- Explore the role ed-tech can play in developing curriculum and in engaging students for improved learning outcomes
- Develop different technology projects using standard classroom applications
- Prepare to apply project-based learning when integrating technology in their classroom

- 1 hour USOE credit
Points:

Assignment:
Each week participants view the assigned Faculty Lounge episodes, participate in online discussions and complete either a project or reflection assignment.
