Description:
If you're looking for a new way to assess student's understanding, consider a student electronic portfolio project. Learn to transfer projects, documents and some of your current assessment strategies into the digital realm. - Examples of and uses for different items that might be included in a student portfolio.
- Components of a portfolio designed to assess student learning that results from a project.
- How to collect and save artifacts for the portfolio.
- How to create an electronic portfolio with different document formats: PDF, web page, or MS PowerPoint/Corel Presentations.
Things to bring:
Artifacts and electronic documents with which to build a sample portfolio.
